At least 11 people have been killed and 46 injured in Kiev in Russian bombings

Russia's latest attack in Kiev has left at least 11 dead and 46 injured, according to the provisional balance sheet. The attack took place early in the morning and Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelenski had previously warned of the risk of such a major attack.
According to data provided by the mayor of Kiev, Vitali Klitschko, three districts in the capital have suffered extensive material damage . Many residential buildings have been damaged and burned by Russian bombardments.
With drones and missiles
The Ukrainian Air Force has reported via Telegram that Russia has launched drones and missiles into Kiev this morning, with heavy explosions being heard in the capital early on Monday.
The day before, Volodimir Zelensky had declared that Russia was planning another major attack on Ukraine. In a bombing last Thursday, 30 people were killedin Kiev and what had happened in the last few hours was expected.
Before the summit
The Ukrainian President said it was no coincidence that the attack took place on the eve of the annual NATO summit in Turkey on Tuesday and Wednesday.
