Iran's supreme leader has pointed the finger at US President Donald Trump for failing to comply with the ceasefire provided for in the Memorandum of Understanding between the two sides.

Iranian Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei has denounced America 's repeated violations of the memorandum signed on June 18 and warned that the Islamic Republic has "unforgettable lessons" for Washington.
Just a few hours earlier, Iran's deputy foreign minister, Kazem Gharibabai, also announced that the country has cancelled its commitments and the implementation of the memorandum of understanding because "the US has breached and suspended all its obligations under the agreement."
"The repeated violation of the commitments made by the great Satan in the memorandum of understanding signed by the presidents of the United States and Iran has revealed how invalid the signature of the President of the United States is," Khamenei said in statements broadcast on social media and state television.
Khamenei, who has not appeared in public since his appointment as the country's supreme leader in March, has also today sent a message warning to the United States and a call for national unity, urging citizens and authorities to avoid divisions and internal conflicts.
Iran has reported that U.S. attacks in recent weeks have resulted in 50 deaths and more than 500 injuries, and that 10,000 people are without water as a result of attacks on a desalination plant in Hormozgan.
