The heat wave that has affected the Basque Country for more than a week has left temperatures above 40 ° C in 24 municipalities this Tuesday, with a maximum of 44 ° C in Llodio (Álava), followed by 43 ° C in Igorre (Bizkaia) and 42.4 ° C in Bergara (Gipuzkoa).
In the interior of Bizkaia, 14 municipalities exceed 40 degrees and in Gipuzkoa 8 degrees. In Álava, only Llodio and Amurrio (42.3 ° C) have reached this value, while in Pagoeta and Kapildui the highs have been 31.6 and 32.5 ° C respectively.
