Gloomy skies and pleasant temperatures to start August

The monthof August has begun to be cloudy in most of the Basque Country (except in the south where the sun shines from the first hour of the morning), with mild temperatures. However, according to the prediction of Euskalmet, as the hours go by, the clouds will disappear and the skies will be clear. Thermometers will circulate at summer values and warm in southern Navarre.

According to the Euskalmet forecast, although today they have woken up in the north half in a gloomy way, the era will wash up. In the morning the skies will be very cloudy; in the north the clouds will be denser and there will also be rain at various points. From noon the cloud will decrease and by the afternoon the sky will be clear. The wind will blow from the north; in the afternoon the wind will be from the northeast. The maximum temperatures will be 25-26 degrees on the coast and 29-30 degrees Celsius in the interior.

On Sunday, the summer atmosphere, with the sun dominating the sky and temperatures rising, most sharply in the south. The rise in the south will be higher, so the Basque Government's Directorate of Emergency and Meteorological Care will activate the yellow warning in the Rioja Alavesa from noon (until 20:00) for extreme high temperatures , with maximum of 35 degrees expected.

On Mondaywe will see more cloud cover in the sky, and temperatures will drop. The sky will be cloudy at many times, with clouds of all kinds, and will be more abundant in the north half. This will be accompanied by the development of clouds of evolution in the afternoon, with the possibility of some thunderstorm, especially in the east. The clouds and the northern wind will cause the maximum temperatures to drop and lose what was gained on Sunday.
