American actor and film director Rob Reiner, 78, and his wife Michele Singer, 68, were found dead this morning at their home in Los Angeles.
A family spokesman has confirmed the news through a statement sent to CNN, claiming privacy for the family "in these difficult times."
The Fire Department received a warning about 3:38 p.m. (Los Angeles time) and by the time they left, they were both dead.
The Los Angeles Police Department has indicated that they are not looking for anyone. "We will try to talk to all the relatives we can to try to clarify what happened," Deputy Chief of Police Alan Hamilton said at a press conference.
