The composer Aranzazu Calleja will receive the honorary award from the FANT film festival
The FANT Fantastic Film Festival, organized by the Bilbao City Council, will award the FANT Honorary Award for its 32 edition to the composer Aranzazu Calleja, "one of the leading creators of current film music", as explained in a statement by the festival, which will be held this year from 8 to 16 May.
Calleja's works include the music of 'El hoyo', 'Los aitas', 'Cinco Lobitos', 'Marco', 'Maspalomas', 'Irati' and 'Akelarre', the latter two in collaboration with Maite Arroitajauregi Mursego.
On the other hand, the organization has announced that "La Casa en el Árbol", by Luis Calderón, will open the 32nd edition of the FANT on May 8. The film, shot in Bizkaia, is starring Sandra Escacena, Claudio Portalo, Kandido Uranga, Mala Rodriguez, Apolonia Lapiedra, Ai-xing Cobos, Asier Hernández and Inge Ugarte.

Actor, producer and director Ricardo Darín will star in the official poster of the 74 edition of the San Sebastian Film Festival, which will be held from 18 to 26 September 2026.
