Alfredo Martínez, manager of Osasunbidea, has been dismissed
The Government of Navarre has announced the dismissal of themanager of Osasunbide, Alfredo Martínez, whose decision has been announced by the Health Adviser, Fernando Domínguez, through a video broadcast by the same department.
Dominguez explains that his dismissal is due to the need to offer " anew boost "to public health in Navarre for the second part of the legislature. In the same message, Martinez is" incredibly grateful "for his work during his two years at the head of the Navarro Health Service.
The Chief Executive has assured that in the next few days the name of the person who will take over the management of Osasunbidea will be made known and asked for "calm and confidence" from both health personnel and citizens.
The relay takes place in a context of difficulties in the Navarre health system, especially with regard to waiting lists , which is one of the main challenges of the Department of Health.
The movement has brought about a significant change in the structure of public health in Navarre and has opened a new phase in the management of the foral health system.
