The Basque Government and the Spanish Government will begin negotiations next week on the competence of Social Security
The Lehendakari has stated that the Minister for Governance, Digital Administration and Self-Government, Maria Ubarretxena, "has meetings with the ministries".
Next week, the Basque Government will begin negotiating with the Spanish Government the management of the Social Security economic regime, as announced by the President, Imanol Pradales, in an interview with the Vocento group.
The lehendakari has advanced that he will be "the mother of all struggles" and has considered that "a path is open" to an agreement.
As he explained, Maria Ubarretxena, Counsellor for Governance, Digital Administration and Self-Government, has "meetings with ministries."
For his part, the President of the PNV, Aitor Esteban, has addressed the issue at the events commemorating the bombing of Gernika and has said that he hopes that "good faith will prevail" in the negotiation and that "the deadlines will be reasonable".
