Santurtzi's PNV denounces threats against Mayor Itziar Carrocera to the Ertzaintza

Santurtzi's PNV has denounced to the Ertzaintza thethreats, insults and coercion that MayorI tziar Carrocera has received in recent days. One of the threats spread through social networks shows the image of the ruler surrounded by a target.
In a statement, the Santurtzi PNV expressed its support for the mayorand condemned the "constant insults, coercion and threats" to which they have been subjected in recent days.
The jeltzale party has conveyed to Carrocera its "full support , affection and solidarity "for the" persecution "that it believes it is suffering and believes that" no public representative should receive it ".

The PNV has explained that one of the threats was spread through social media, showing the image of the mayor "surrounded by a target."
The party has described the situation as' serious' and warned that this type of behaviour hasno place in Basque society, 'in a democratic society, nor in coexistence'.
Faced with these threats, the Santurtzi PNV has stated that it will respond "with unity, serenity and determination".
The party has filed a complaint with the Ertzaintza to investigate the facts and determine the relevant responsibilities.
