This morning's debate in the Basque Parliament to strengthen the protection of people living on rent was marked by disagreement between the Basque parties,which focused on the case of Maricarmen Abascal, who died yesterday at the age of 87. As I said, EH Bildu was the only one to support the proposal, while in the vote on the amendment tabled by the PNV and the PSE, EH Bildu and Sumar abstained, which will affect not only the homes of Benta Berri, but all the rental houses in the same situation in the Basque Country.
