The political parties of the Bilbao City Council, with the exception of EH Bildu, have agreed on a statement to the Board of Spokespersons condemning yesterday's serious incidents.

In the text agreed by PNV, PSE-EE, PP and Elkarrekin Bilbao, they denounce the violent groups filling the streets of Bilbao with violence and defend the use of the force of dialogue and the word to solve all the problems that arise in our society.

They have also condemned the cries of "Long live ETA military!" which were heard during the riots and which lead us to the times of terror in our country.

Finally, they show solidarity with the traders and owners of the vehicles concerned and with the whole of Bilbaine society that had to endure the folly of violence.
