Supreme Court Judge Ángel Hurtado has indicted the Attorney General of the State, Álvaro García Ortiz, and the Chief Prosecutor of the Province of Madrid, Pilar Rodríguez, for disclosure of secrets for the alleged involvement of Alberto González Amador in the leak related to the case of Isabel Díaz Ayuso's partner.
Hurtado issued an order on Monday to transform pre-trial proceedings into summary proceedings against García Ortiz and Rodriguez, confirming the evidence of a crime against them.
The judge states that, with regard to the indications, it can be inferred that the Attorney-General transmitted to a media outlet the information contained in a message dated 2 February 2024 sent by the Chief Prosecutor of the Province of Madrid, Pilar Rodriguez, stating that the lawyer of Alberto González Amador, the couple of the President of Madrid, had decided to admit two tax offences.
Hurtado points out that the message contained personal information from Gonzalez Amador, as it was a private conversation between a lawyer and a prosecutor subject to confidentiality and confidentiality criteria.
