The Public Prosecutor's Office has opposed the Supreme Court investigating Bolaños in the 'Begoña Gómez case'
Judge Juan Carlos Peinado requested that the Minister of the Presidency, Justice and Relations with the Courts, Félix Bolaños, be investigated for the offences of false testimony and embezzlement, but Prosecutor Prieto believes that the judge's explanation is not sufficiently reasoned and substantiated and has referred the petition to the Admission Chamber.
Supreme Court Prosecutor Fernando Prieto has opposed Judge Juan Carlos Peinado 's request to investigate the Minister of the Presidency, Justice and Relations with the Courts, Félix Bolaños.
Peinado has requested that Bolaños be investigated in the "Begoña Gómez case " because he has seen evidence of false testimony and embezzlement.
Prieto takes the report to the Admission Chamber, which will decide whether it follows the line marked by the Public Prosecutor's Office or gives way to Peinado's request.
Peinado sent a reasoned statement to the Supreme Court requesting the investigation of Bolaños on the grounds that he had committed the above-mentioned offences for hiring Cristina Alvarez as Gomez's adviser.
The agencies have explained that the prosecutor says that Peinado has not objectively justified the performance of private activities outside the civil service by Alvarez, nor has he explained why, if so, Bolaños would be responsible for this.(We're working to complete the information.)
