There will be elections this Sunday in Castile and Leon, with the PP as a favorite
The parties desire to increase their representation in the courts, since they will henceforth have 82 solicitors (one more than now), and the absolute majority will be 42 representatives.
Castile and Leon hold the autonomous elections this Sunday, March 15, unlike eta in February 2022, this time the legislature is over, for the second time in its history.
The popular president, Alfonso Fernández Mañueco, completely exhausted the legal term of his term of office on 19 January, when he signed the decree calling elections.
The political parties participating in the autonomous elections on 15 March shall be divided into 82 procurators, not 81, who shall now be appointed seven representatives in Segovia instead of six.
In all, the 82 procurators of the 12th Legislature shall be divided into Valladolid (15), Leon (13), Burgos (11), Salamanca (10), Ávila, Palencia, Segovia and Zamora (7) and Soria (5).
This means that in the new term the absolute majority will be given by 42 procurators.
The PSOE has internal polls that provide for a technical tie with the PP, but the distribution of seats will depend on small bundles of votes, as the result will be very tight in some places.
According to these polls, the PSOE can get 29-30 parliamentarians at best, now it has 28, or 26 at worst. Today, the PP has 31 representatives, Vox 11, UPL 3, SYA 3, two attorneys were from Vox, and Podemos, XAV and IzqEspe have one.
Nor has the election campaign marked by the Iranian war caused a turnaround in voting intent, even though the polls predict a greater mobilization of the socialist voter.
