"That group of Basque and Basque artists took the voice of a people. A gesture that was also an affirmation of identity, dignity and freedom, and that turned art into a tool to make visible and reinvigorate its place in the world. "
In parallel, the President will develop a political agenda in the Emilia-Romagna Region, where a meeting will be held on 6 May with his President, Michele de Pascale, with the aim of reforming bilateral relations initiated in 2023.
During the day of work in Bologna, the President will remain a meeting with the President of the Episcopal Conference of Italiana, the Cardinal Matteo Zuppi, Arzobispo de Bologna and one of the figures "most reconnoisseurs of the European Catholic Church, who has highlighted his commitment to the dialogue, the mediation and peaceful resolution of conflicts, in line with the tradition of the Catholic Church of Sant'Angele.
In conjunction, the displacement of Paradales to Italy "reflects a comprehensive vision of the external action of the Basque Country, Euskadi Globala, in which the culture acts as a central element of the international project, connecting identity, innovation and cooperation for the positioning of the country in the main global spaces of creation and decision ".
