The PNV warns that there has been bad legislative practice in the face of housing decrees, which cannot be repeated
Jeltzales will tomorrow give their "critical" support to the decree containing most of the measures in Congress, but will reject the second automatic rent renewal text.
The PNV spokeswoman for the Congress, Maribel Cowboy, has complained that "there has been no dialogue" with her party on the housing decree on the automatic renewal of rents and has warned that "this bad legislative practice cannot be repeated."
In statements to the media in Urnieta (Gipuzkoa), Cowboy has confirmed that the PNV will give its "critical" support tomorrow to the housing decree that includes most of the measures in Congress, but will reject the second.
According to Vaquero, the PNV will reject it because "it is not in the interests of small owners to keep rental housing on the market", since "more than 90% of rental housing is put on the market by small owners".
The jeltzale has insisted that his party's "yes" to "urgent measures to ensure the social function of housing" will be "critical" given the "course of action" of the Spanish Government.
