Behind the pioneering project called Robotics Challenges are the Navarre Government and ADACEN, which aim to improve the autonomy and qualityof life of older people with disabilities through robotics. The main novelty is that the development of the robot is led by the user and their families, so that the technology will be adapted to the person and not the other way around.

As a novelty, self-employed workers will also be able to apply for flexible retirement, as up to now only salaried workers have been able to apply. 

Almost 900,000 places will be offered in total, 7,400 of which have been reserved for pensioners with fewer resources at a price of EUR 50.

The public tele-assistance service will incorporate personalized plans for users at risk of loneliness and support for those who care for their elderly or dependent family members at home, thus complementing the deployment of predictive and advanced tele-assistance announced in July.

According to Eustat, the migration balance will be positive between 2025 and 2035 in 240 municipalities of the Basque Country (95.2% of the total).

The study of the Biobizkaia Institute aims to prevent addiction and protect health, but it doesn't just stop at medical exams. Participants also enjoy nutrition talks, microbiota and habits to help them improve their well-being.

The study concludes that people who speak more than one language grow older than the rest.

In the Basque Autonomous Community, more than half a million people over 65 years of age account for 23% of our population.  Given the growing need for care, the Basque Government is developing tools to protect caregivers as well. One of these support tools for caregivers is a mobile app called ZAINDOO, which is already used by about a thousand people.

Under the slogan "You are the key to preventing influenza. Vaccinate." Osakidetza calls on vulnerable people to make an appointment, vaccinations will begin on Monday. People who are not considered vulnerable will have to wait until November to be vaccinated.
