The population of the Basque Autonomous Community (CAV) will increase over the next decade (from 2025 to 2035) in almost all regions except Markina-Ondarroa, where population is expected to decline, according to data released on Monday by the Basque Institute of Statistics, Eustat.
Projections indicate that the number of deaths between 2025 and 2035 will be higher than that of births (Negative vegetative growth) in all Basque regions, while migration balances will be positive in all regions.

Urduliz, Berango, Astigarraga and Derio will gain the most population
