Thus, 14 municipalities in the Basque Country have already been declared strained housing areas, which may be followed by Arrasate, Zestoa, Pasaia and Basauri. 

According to reports from the Basque Government's Department of Security, after midnight on Thursday, the Ertzaintza received a call asking to go to the premises, since a man had tried three times to run over one of the employees of the establishment with his car outside the premises, apparently before which they had had a quarrel and the worker had thrown the arrested man out.

The declaration of strained areas makes it possible to extend a number of measures to facilitate access to housing, the most important of which is the possibility of setting the rent ceiling on the price range established by the Ministry of Housing according to a reference index adapted to each area, although the classification will not enter into force officially until it is published in the Official Gazette of the State.

The road is cut in both directions and holds of up to four kilometres in the Irun sense. In the direction of San Sebastian there have also been long delays.

The works council has called the strike days for 26 June and 2 July, and plans to start an indefinite strike from 8 July.
