The Israeli Defence Minister has stated that the hundreds of thousands of citizens evacuated from southern Lebanon to the north will not return until the security of those living in northern Israel is guaranteed.

The Israeli Defence Minister announced that southern Lebanon would become Gaza, and that is what is happening. Lebanese Christians are trapped, many have fled to shelters in Beirut, but others have no intention of leaving the city.

The Israeli Defence Minister has ordered the "immediate" destruction of all bridges over the Litani River in Lebanon. Just today the Qasmiyeh Bridge was attacked. The Israeli Army, for its part, has announced a new "wave of attacks" on the "infrastructure" of the Shia Hezbollah group in southern Lebanon.

Israel and Iran have intensified their bombings as uncertainty about global energy transport grows. The US has temporarily opened the market for Iranian crude oil and has not clarified whether it will intervene in Hormuz.

Defense Minister Israel Katz has warned that "hundreds of thousands of Xitians living in southern Lebanon" and those who have left the region following Israeli warnings "will not be able to return to their homes south of the Litani River" until "security is guaranteed" in the Israeli regions near the border.

Guterres has warned that there is no military solution to the current conflict between the Shia group Hezbollah and Israel and has urged both sides to engage in dialogue and diplomatic channels at a press conference in Beirut.

"The aim is to take control of that territory, move Hezbollah's forces north (far from the border) and destroy the military positions and weapons stores in the villages," the Axios portal said.

On Thursday, the Israeli Government threatened to "take" Lebanon in order to deal with Hezbollah's "threat."  "We promised peace and security to the communities of , and that is exactly what we are going to do," Israel stressed.

The bombings have intensified in Iran and southern Lebanon, where 1,250 people have already been killed, mostly civilians. For the time being, the parties have shown no intention of negotiating, despite calls from China and Russia to defuse the conflict.

At least four people have been killed this Sunday in the Israeli attack on a hotel on the Beirut promenade, the first in a six-day air strike in the city centre, where Israel claims to have captured the commanders of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard.

In addition, Michael Ayestaran has explained that more than 700,000 people have had to leave their homes from Beirut, where Israel has carried out heavy bombings after demanding the evacuation of the southern neighbourhoods of the Lebanese capital. 

In addition to the capital, Israel has carried out heavy bombings in southern and eastern Lebanon against the Shia group Hezbollah .Since the beginning of the attacks at least 123 people have been killed in Lebanon.
