The ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon is in force, and they have denounced that they are not being complied with
After weeks of military escalation, the agreement has been announced by the President of the United States and has been denounced for breaches and new riots.
The truce between Israel and Lebanon is in effect after US President Donald Trump announced a 10-day agreement between the two countries.
Minutes before the scheduled time, the Israeli army claimed that it was bombing rockets from the Shia Hezbollah militia in Lebanese territory and had attacked more than 380 targets in the last 24 hours.
On the other hand, Hezbollah also launched attacks on northern Israel prior to the entry into force of the agreement, setting off alarms and striking several points. Israeli emergency services reported at least three wounded, two of them seriously.
The agreement provides for a 10-day ceasefire in principle, which may be extended if progress is made in negotiations and Lebanon demonstrates its ability to exercise its sovereignty.
In six weeks there have already been more than 2,100 deaths in Lebanon, including more than 100 minors, according to data from the Lebanese Ministry of Health.
However, the Lebanese Army has reported several violations within hours of the entry into force of the ceasefire, which has been the scene of Israeli attacks and periodic bombings in several southern towns.
At the same time, the Israeli Defence Forces have warned thatthey will continue to expand in southern Lebanon, and have urged the population of eta not to go to certain areas for security reasons.
Regional tension coincides with the fragile diplomatic context in the Middle East, where a temporary ceasefire between the United States and Iran is also at stake and will end on 22 April.
In this context, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has accused Israel of being the "greatest obstacle to peace" and has called on the international community to respond decisively to a two-state solution in Palestine.
