An earthquake has hit the entire Pacific, and tsunami alerts have been activated in several countries

The 8.8-degree landslide has had its epicenter in the Russian region of Kamchatka: alerts have been activated in China, Japan, the US or Mexico.

82 people have already died from floods in Texas

In Kerr, 68 people have been killed, and 14 others in nearby counties. Texas Governor Greg Abbott has reported at least 41 missing.

The floods have left at least 25 dead and dozens missing in Texas

The Guadalupe River has overflowed in central and southern Texas, and in addition to 25 deaths, there are a large number of missing persons, including 23 underage children participating in a Christian town hall organized for girls. Aandera, Cope, Comal, Concho, Gillespie, Kendall, Kerr, Kimble, Llano, Mason, McCullouch, Menard, San Saba and Tom Green.
