The skeleton of a 4,000 year old bison has been found, almost entirely, in Urbasa, which could be the first European bison documented in the Iberian Peninsula

Its president, María Chivite, and the Minister of Culture and Sports, Rebeca Esnaola, presented on Monday a finding of "great scientific importance", "unique" in the Iberian Peninsula, which took place in the Arrafela Cave, in an archaeological intervention promoted by the Department of Culture, with the participation of the University of the Basque Country and the Museum of Natural History of Madrid, among others.

The Navarre Government says it has acted "in accordance with protocol" in relation to the alleged sexual assault of a minor in a supervised facility

Its spokesman, Javier Remírez, has called "all agents, media and political parties to be held accountable so as not to give way to inaccurate information that creates situations of child protection." In this regard, he has censured the "extreme right" for taking advantage of the situation to "mark a false discourse that stigmatizes certain minors according to their origin or nationality."
