Pablo Azcona and Mayte Espinosa will head Geroa Bai's list to Congress and the Senate

Geroa Bai's current parliamentary spokesman, Pablo Azcona , will head the coalition's list to the Congress of Deputies in the November 29 general election, while the mayor of Buñuel, Mayte Espinosa , will head the list to the Senate.

Geroa Bai this Friday approved the candidacies that will represent the coalition in the general election. The list to Congress consists ofPablo Azcona, María Basarte, Javier Ollo, Aitana Duqueand Alfredo Agos, while the list to the Senate consists of Mayte Espinosa, Raúl Ayalaand Anika Luján\u00A0.

Pablo Azcona began his political activity in 2007 as a councillor of Loosa within the framework of the LOIU training, a position he held until 2011, when he was appointed mayor of the municipality until 2021.

He also chaired the Navarra Federation of Municipalities and Councils(FNMC-FNMC) during 2015 and 2019, then served as Geroa Bai's Foral Member of Parliament between 2019 and 2023 and, since 2023,is the coalition 's spokesperson in the Navarre Parliament.

On the other hand, Mayte Espinosa has been mayorof Buñuel for two legislatures, from 2019 to 2023 and from 2025 to the present, her career has been linked to the training and counselling and career guidance of managers.

He holds a higher degree in Business Administration and Management, a postgraduate degree in People Management and a specialization in Marketing from the EADA Business School (based in Barcelona). He is currently on leave in his position at the Gizain Foundation.

With these nominations,the coalition seeks to "reaffirm its commitment to the defence of Navarre's interests in Madrid and to progressive, constructive and propositional representation in the Cortes Generales," Geroa Bai stressed in a statement.
