A summary, in two words, of what will be news in the Present today.

The Provincial Council of Álava is preparing a series of fiscal measures to support companies in the face of the war in Iran. "We will use our fiscal capacity to, among other things, urgently and exceptionally implement concrete measures to ease the financial tensions of companies," said Ramiro González, MP for Álava. 

On Thursday, the Israeli Government threatened to "take" Lebanon in order to deal with Hezbollah's "threat."  "We promised peace and security to the communities of , and that is exactly what we are going to do," Israel stressed.

 Mojtaba Khameni has stressed that the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz must continue, "in order to put pressure on the enemy", following the attacks on the ships of the area  . "Thearmed forces of Rango have taken away the hope of subduing the country, and possibly dividing the enemy ", AS.

Following the latest attacks on ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz, the price of a Brent barrel has risen by more than $100. 

President Masud Pezeshkian has reaffirmed Tehran's "commitment" to peace in the region and proclaimed its "right to self-defence."

At the meeting of the Industrial Defence Group, the President, Imanol Pradales, announced that his Government is preparing 'a first package of measures if the situation continues and becomes more complicated', and urged the Spanish Government and the EU to do the same.

However, he has stressed that they must be "organized" to escort merchant ships in the area.

The war in the Middle East has brought about a new energy crisis that entrepreneurs do not believe will end soon, and they have therefore called for "quick and robust" measures such as tax cuts and advocating alternatives that reduce energy dependence.

The aim of this measure is to compensate for the loss of oil supply caused by the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz.

The bombings have intensified in Iran and southern Lebanon, where 1,250 people have already been killed, mostly civilians. For the time being, the parties have shown no intention of negotiating, despite calls from China and Russia to defuse the conflict.

Also, the Republican leader  has assured us that the Strait of Hormuz is open and that ships have begun to pass through it, adding that he is considering taking control of that passage. 

During the day, it's been around $120 a barrel, so G7 ministers have met and expressed their readiness to take action and release their reserves.

The war in the Middle East continues and Iran, for the time being, shows no signs of fatigue. The Persian country continues its attacks on Israel and neighbouring US-allied countries with the aim of creating a global economic crisis.

Martin Izagirre is 26 years old, is currently the second officer of a gas tanker and has already crossed the Strait of Hormuz 50 times. Since February 26, his ship has been anchored in the Persian Gulf off Iraq. Iran attacks have shut down the Strait and thousands of boats have been trapped on either side.

The military offensive has worsened and fires have erupted in basic infrastructure, increasing instability in the region.

The world order entered a new situation a week ago, when the United States and Israel began their attacks on Iran. How long will this conflict last? Will the Gulf countries enter? What position will Europe, Russia and China take?
