Sanchez has advocated forming a progressive front against a right that "has succumbed to the discourse of the far right."

The President of the Spanish Government has advocated the need for progressive leaders to join forces to confront the "reactionary international front." This has been expressed at thesummit "Democracy always" organized by Chilean President Gabriel Boric , in which Brazilian President Luiz Inazio Lula da Silva , Colombian President Gustavo Petro  and Uruguayan Yamandu Orsi also participated.

Pradales has asked Sanchez for "more leadership and coordination" to overcome administrative and political obstacles

"The agreements are there to be complied with," said the lehendakari Pradales at the end of the meeting of the Bilateral Commission for Permanent Cooperation. Imanol Pradales has acknowledged the "political will" of Pedro Sánchez, but has asked him to "put order in place." President Pradales has met with Pedro Sánchez

The President of the Spanish Government, Pedro Sánchez, has received the President, Imanol Pradales, at the Palacio de la Moncloa, at a meeting held prior to the chairmanship of the Commission for Permanent Bilateral Cooperation between the State and the Basque Country, which will address the outstanding transfers, the official status of the Basque Country in Europe, the Atlantic macroregion, the electricity capacity of the Basque industry and migration.
