The Israeli Ministry of Defence has indicated that Israel has launched a "preventive attack on Iran" to "eliminate threats" against its country, after which anti-missile alarms have been heard in Israel.
"An attack with missiles and drones on the State of Israel and its civilian population is expected sooner rather than later," Defense added in a statement, in which Defense Minister Israel Katz reported that a state of emergency has been declared throughout the country.
