201 new commercial companies were created in the Basque Autonomous Community in August, an increase of 24.1% in the number of new companies from 2024 to 2025. These 201 companies signed acapital of EUR 9.7 million, and all of them became limited companies .
On the other hand, 69 companies were reduced in capital, and 68 were dissolved, 52 of which were voluntarily dissolved, 7 by merger, and 9 by other causes.
In the Spanish State as a whole, 7118 companies were established in August, an increase of 3.4 per cent over August 2024, and 1279 companies were dissolved, 6.2 per cent less than the previous year.
