A total of 201 companies were set up in the Autonomous Community of the Basque Country, with a capital of 9.7 million euros, all of which were established as limited companies.
201 new commercial companies were created in the Basque Autonomous Community in August, an increase of 24.1% in the number of new companies from 2024 to 2025. Thus, the ACV was the community with the greatest business dynamism in August, according to data released this Friday by the National Institute of Statistics (INE).
These 201 companies signed acapital of EUR 9.7 million, and all of them became limited companies .
On the other hand, 69 companies were reduced in capital, and 68 were dissolved, 52 of which were voluntarily dissolved, 7 by merger, and 9 by other causes.
In the Spanish State as a whole, 7118 companies were established in August, an increase of 3.4 per cent over August 2024, and 1279 companies were dissolved, 6.2 per cent less than the previous year.
