The Spanish Ministry of Health has convened for 9 April the Interterritorial Council of the National Health System to discuss the medical strike with the Autonomous Communities. The doctors have held two one-week strikes in February and March to reject the reform of the Framework Statute and to declare their own Statutory Framework.
Earlier this Friday, 27 March, an interterritorial meeting will be held to discuss various decrees, and the Basque Government has asked the Ministry of Health to put on the agenda the impact that the medical strike is having on the public health system.
