The Papresa Works Council has described the existence of "different options" as "positive", although there is currently no agreement with the social side

Forthe works council of the Papresa binin Errenteria, it is "positive" that there are "different options" to continue production, even though there is currently no agreement with the social side on working conditions. 

The Papresa creditor competitionhas entered  and the CL Group  (linked to Cristian Lay) has made a binding offer to buy it.

The Works Council has stated in a statement that solutions must be sought to continue the activity of the company and to ensure jobs. For two months now, workers have been making four-hour stops twice a week (Tuesday and Friday from 12:00 to 16:00). 

The working committee is in contact not only with CL Group, but with a Basque company that plans to submit an offer to buy the company, which shows, according to the workers, that there are "different options to continue the papresa." 

In this regard, the Staff Committee considers it good news to explore different options to continue the business of the company. 

In this context, the Works Council has shown its willingness to continue dialogue with all the parties involved, the Basque Government and the Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa, in order to ensure continuity of activity and employment.
