The event took place at kilometre 2 of road GI-636, in the tunnels of Altamira, passing through Errenteria, in the sense of San Sebastián. As a result of the accident, there have been long delays of several kilometres.
There has been a traffic accident on the GI-636, at kilometre 2, off Errenteria, in the direction of San Sebastián (at the height of the Altamira tunnels), which has caused a lorry to hit a person whose condition is unknown.
As a result of the incident, there have been delays forseveral kilometres, as confirmed by Service 011. The authorities recommend that those travelling in the area should drive cautiously, as traffic is dense and delays occur.
Emergency and road maintenance teams are working to remove the crashed vehicle and normalize traffic as soon as possible.
