The five young men arrested in Murgia for stabbing a minor are still in police custody
The five young men arrested on Thursday in Murgia (Álava) on charges of stab assault on a 17-year-old arestill in police custody and are expected to be taken to court this Saturday, the Department of Safety and Security has reported.
The attack took place around 6:30 p.m. on Thursday on Oto Avenue, and the victim was located by a Ertzaintza patrol, and the minor was taken to Txagorritxu hospital.
The investigation has revealed that the alleged perpetrators fled in a vehicle and were intercepted shortly thereafter in Murgia, identifying the five young men inside and finding a knife and hammers in a bag, confiscating them and arresting them.
They were arrested on charges of attempted murder and transferred to police stations. The investigation remains open.
