Two people have been injured in a two-car accident at BI-633 in Markina
Two people were injured this morning in an accident involving two cars on the BI-633 road off Markina, according to the Basque Government's Department of Safety.
The accident occurred before 7:30 in front of the Ubilla-Urberuaga neighbourhood on the way to Gernika.
The two injured persons have been taken to Galdakao hospital, one of whom has been trapped inside the vehicle and has had to be rescued by firefighters.
Although the road has been completely cut off in the first moment, since 7.30 a.m. the Ertzaintza has been making its way in turn and there have been delays in the area.
