90.61% of candidates have passed the University Access Test in the Basque Country
A total of 1 214 students from the Basque Country Baccalaureate participated in this extraordinary phase, of whom 1 100 (90.61%) have managed to exceed it. This percentage is slightly lower than that recorded in last June's regular call, which was approved by 96.73% of the candidates.
The University Access Test is divided into two parts: the compulsory entry phase, to be passed by those wishing to pursue undergraduate university studies; and the voluntary admission phase, designed to improve the final grade, in which 133 students from Higher Degree Training Cycles were enrolled and examinations of specific subjects were carried out in order to increase their qualifications.
In Álava, 175 students (95.63 per cent) have been approved by the majority of persons, followed by Gipuzkoawith 404 students (91.40 per cent) and Bizkaiawith 517 students (89.91 per cent), with 28.57 per cent not attached to campuses .
Taking into account the data for the whole of the Basque Country, 93.79% of those presented in Basque passed the examination and 83.06% of those presented in Spanish .
