The City Council of Pamplona/Iruña will begin charging electric vehicle charging points from August onwardsfor owners who do not move the vehicle at the end of the charge, so the City Council wants to put an end to those who use it as a parking lot.
This practice has been particularly noticeable in the charging areas of the city centre, which usethese vehicles as parking spaces.
Therefore, from 1 August, all persons who use these charging points in the municipal network will be punished.
So, after 15 minutes of loading, it will cost EUR 0.20 per minuteto stay there, up to a maximum of EUR 50.
On the other hand, the Pamplona Municipal Police will fine vehicles parked in these areas if they are not using the charging service.
Currently, the Navarre capital has 65 electric vehicle charging stations, including 29 public spaces.
