The court sentenced him to four years and one day and 12 years' imprisonment for each offence of sexual abuse, depending on the gravity of the offences, in accordance with the Criminal Code in force at the time of the acts, and to five months' imprisonment for possession of pornographic material.
In particular, he is charged with 4 offences of sexual abuse of children under 16 years of age in the form of prevalence of the dominant position; 4 offences of continued sexual abuse of children under 16 years of age in the form of prevalence of the dominant position; 3 offences of continued sexual abuse of children under 16 years of age in the form of meat, with a prevalence of the dominant position; and 1 offence of possession of material for the sexual exploitation of children.
In addition to prison sentences, the accused must compensate the victims, according to the sentence, from 3,000 to 30,000 euros , as well as probation measures, prohibition of approaching or communicating with the victims and disqualification from any profession, profession or activity, whether remunerated or not, involving regular and direct contact with minors.
This judgement is not final and may be appealed to the High Court of Justice of the Basque Country.
