The supportof the Global Sumud Fleet has been organized in the Basque Country and Navarre by Basque associations to support the Palestina, an international initiative organized byactivists from different countries.
In this context, dozens of people have presented on Monday inVitoria-Gasteiz activities organized to join this international initiative, such as fasting, demonstrations and marches, as well as various activities in Bilbao and Navarre.
This very Monday, nine people will begin their confinement and fasting in Vitoria-Gasteiz, until Friday, in solidarity with the Palestinian people. In the Alavesa capital there will also be a rally in front of a supermarket accused of supporting Israel and a demonstration on the 29th.
They have also called a rallyin front of the Basque Parliament on Tuesday to urge the Basque Government to break off all relations with Israel and with 'criminal Zionism'.
Along with these initiatives, on 6 September a march on land bat will be held inthe Bilbao River, from Santurtzi to the Maritime Museum, in solidarity with Gaza from the Cantabrian Sea.
