Two detainees in Gipuzkoa and two others in Navarre during a police operation against the possession and distribution of child sexual material
During the searches, thousands of images and video files have been seized with "serious" sexual assaults on minors and other offensive and degrading actions towards the victims, with a total of 16 detainees in this police operation in Spain.
Two persons have been arrested in Gipuzkoaand two others in Navarrein a police operation againstthepossession and distribution of material related to the sexual exploitation of children , 12 others have also been arrested in other Spanish provinces and five men OTHER have been investigated, two of them in the Foral Community, although they have not been arrested so far.
The agents found in the records thousands of images and video files containing "serious" sexual assaults on minors, as well as other offensive and degrading acts on the victims.
The detainees includea secondary school teacher in Barcelona and two persons detained in Cáceres and Lugo , who have been placed in pre-trial detentionbecauseof the "gravity and brutality" of the videos they shared.
Another of the detainees highlighted by the officers is a citizen of Girona , who was responsible for distributing more than 85,000 files, who, while in the school yard, watched the minors from their homes and often photographed them.
Of all the investigations, the Spanish police have managed to identify 21 persons, 16 of whom have been arrested in Girona(2), Barcelona(1), Cáceres(1), Castellón(1), Asturias(2), Las Palmas(2), Lugo(1), Madrid(1), Gipuzkoa(2), Cantabria(1), Valencia(1) and Pontevedra(1).
The National Police has recalled that an e-mail address (denuncias.pornografia.infantil@policia.es) is available to all citizens so that anyone with information on the dissemination, possession and storage of child pornography can report anonymously and confidential.
