The trial of the Donostiarra masseur accused of sexually assaulting three minors will begin on Monday and end on Thursday at the Gipuzkoa Territorial Court, where the accused will be tried for sexual assault on three girls aged 13, 14 and 15.
The Gipuzkoa Public Prosecutor's Office is asking for a 45-year prison sentence.
In addition to the prison sentence, the Public Prosecutor's Office intends to impose a ban on masseur and a restraining order, as well as compensation of 50,000 euros for two of the victims and 60,000 euros for the third.
According to the prosecution's provisional indictment, the defendant contacted the teenagers through his partner's daughter and his son.
In those messages, he told minors that he saw them "with a lot of stress and anxiety," and that if they didn't solve the problem, they were at risk of depression, and to avoid that, he informed them that he was willing to give them free massages.
The text of the Public Prosecutor's Office states that, in early 2021, minors agreed to be given these massages, and that the accusedallegedly sexually assaulted them.
Sources involved in the case have reported that the defence has requested the suspension of the hearing due to the absence of an ertzaina called as a witness and an expert from the psychosocial team.
