Health Counselor Alberto Martínez has announced that at the Sectoral Bureau to be held on 24 September with the unions, the establishment of psychologists in primary care to speed up specialized mental health services will be considered, a measure announced on Thursday by the lehendakari.
Following the presentation of the project for the new external consultation building at Basurto Hospital, and in response to questions from the media, Martínez has confirmed this first step and, pending the conclusion of the initiative together with the unions, Osakidetza is expected to include in this deployment two first variables: the level of anxiolytics taken in some regions on the one hand and the socio-economic level of those regions on the other.
On the other hand, the Counsellor has announced that her Department intends to convene another Special Public Offer of Employment for jobs that are difficult to fill, following the publication this Wednesday of the places awarded to 130 faculty members.
