Almost six out of 10 women aged 16 to 85 living in the Basque Country have ever been sexually or continuously harassed
The Basque Government has presented the results of the second part of its study on violence against women throughout their lives, which this time includes the analysis of workplace harassment, sexual harassment, continued harassment and cyberharassment.
57%of women between the ages of 16 and 85 residing in the Basque Autonomous Community (532,018 women) have suffered sexual or continuing harassment at some point, whether in or outside partner relationships.
This is one of the main conclusions of a study carried out by the Basque Government on harassment of women in any area En total of 4,500 people aged between 16 and 85 have been interviewed to complete the survey.
