Four people have been prosecuted for protests at the La Vuelta crossing through Lumbier
The Aoiz Court has summoned the defendants for 18 December for the offences of injury, public disorder and resistance, while the defendants have denounced the "criminalization operation" against them.
The Aoiz Examining Court has summoned four people to testify on 18 December for their participation in the protests during the La Vuelta stage in Lumbier, according to the Solidarity with Palestine platform.
The defendants are charged with the offences of injury, danger to movement, resistance to agents edo disobedience and public disorder.
In a statement released this Sunday, the four persons under investigation have stated that the summons is not "a mere judicial procedure" but "an attempt to intimidate them by raising their voices in favour of Palestine." The investigators have indicated that thousands of people participated in complaints and boycotts at that stage in La Vuelta, that is, in protests against the presence of the cycling team in the State of Israel.
