A 38-year-old woman was found dead this Sunday in Quesada (Jaen) with signs of being stabbed to death. Her former partner, a 61-year-old man, was arrested as the alleged aggressor, with whom she had a relationship more than a year ago. Both were registered in the BioGen system, the woman as the victim and the man as the aggressor.
Quesada City Council has called a rally and called three days of mourning for the first macho murder in Spain in 2026.
The Civil Guard keeps the investigation open and is awaiting a preliminary autopsy report while reconstructing the prisoner's movements.
