The three people arrested in San Sebastian have been imprisoned for one kilo of cocaine
According to the Ertzaintza, one of them swallowed cocaine in capsules with the intention of bringing the drug from Brazil to the capital of Guipuzcoana.
The Ertzaintza has arrested in San Sebastián three men between the ages of 19 and 39 as alleged perpetrators of a public health offence, one of whom arrived in the capital of Guipuzcoana from Brazil and brought a kilo of cocaine embedded in capsules in his abdomen, forcing to be hospitalized in order to expel the substance from the body.
According to the Department of Safety and Security, around 01:30 on Friday morning, agents of the Ertzaintza spotted two men looking at a suitcase in a suspicious manner near the San Sebastian bus station, identifying the two individuals and searching them.
Inside, a kilo of cocaine was found in several containers, and next to the suitcase was a backpack in the name of a third person who was intercepted at the bus station itself.
According to the Ertzaintza, one of the suspects was unwell, with a pale face and abdominal pain. He ate about 10 cocaine capsules with the intention of transporting them from Brazil to San Sebastian, but was unable to expel them.
