Errenteria's neighbors have joined the call made by the Feminist Movement and have strongly denounced the attacks allegedly perpetrated for years by a professor at the Xenpelar Bertso Eskola, who has defined him as "a wolf in sheepskin."
Hundreds of people have gathered this afternoon in the Plaza de los Fueros de Errenteria under the slogan "Stop Impunity, Feminist Self-defense in the Face of Aggression "to denounce the sexual assaults and psychological harassment allegedly committed in recent years by a bertsolari teacher at the Xenpelar Bertso Eskola and to show solidarity with the victims.
The banner was taken by members of the Feminist Movement, followed by hundreds of people, including the local mayor, as well as well-known faces such as Maddalen Lujanbio, Maddi-Ane Txoperena and Beñat Gaztelumendi.
On Thursday, Bertsozale Elkartea, Oreretako Mugimendu Feministak eta The Assembly of Feminists of Oiartzun issued a note denouncing that a teacher of the Xenpelar Bertso Eskola bertso has used his positionandreferentiality to systematically develop and attack the relations of power.

They also explain that he has repeatedly despised the opportunities offered and that he has had a disgusting journey, using manipulation, with complete impunity, to persecute the young women of the village.
On Monday, the mayorof Errenteria, Aizpea Otaegi, will appear to explain the case. It should be recalled that the City Council has suspended the school's activity after learning of the case.

On the other hand, this has not been the only case of macho attitudes in Errenteria in the last few hours.
It has just become public that the director of the Kukai dance group, Jon Maya, had "inappropriate attitudes towards some women." Maya has issued a note calling for "prudence and respect." She has acknowledged her inappropriate attitude towards several women and has stated that she has been "working to ensure that it is not repeated, as these women have demanded, privately."
Yesterday, at the Errenteria Municipal Board, the PSE-EE requested the urgent convening of a special commission to study the management of both cases by the municipal government.
