The UPV recalls that at midnight the deadline for requesting the review of USaP exams expires
The university's warning comes after the computer failure that put dozens of students at zero on the Euskera exam. Despite the university's statement that it corrected the error, the situation has caused concern among the students and families concerned, who this morning concentrated in front of the Faculty of Engineering in San Mamés.
The University of the Basque Country/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea (UPV/EHU) recalls that the University Access Test (USaP) procedure remains open and that applications for review of exams can be submitted until 23:59 p.m. today, Monday. This institutional note comes after a technical error on the rating query platform, in which several students were given zero.
This situation has caused great unease among the students and families concerned, who believe that it will affect the process of awarding places in university degrees, and this morning they held a rally in front of the Faculty of Engineering in San Mamés.
Pedrosa asks the UPV for transparency in the face of the concern of the celebrities
Education Counselor Begoña Pedrosa understands the concern of students and families and has asked the UPV/EHU for "full transparency" to clarify what happened.
"We are not oblivious to this situation; we are concerned about what affects students in our education system and any situation that raises doubts or uncertainty," said the counselor, adding that "it is our duty to follow closely what has happened in the procedure and to clarify everything transparently," Pedrosa told Radio Euskadi's microphones.
The counselor wanted to "reassure" those affected with a view to the start of the complaint phase: "We will wait for the review process and the resolution."
How does the UPV review process work?
Families and students wishing to process the claim must make their formal application via telematics via the Access platform (ehu.eus) before midnight today.
Requests for review shall be assessed by a different corrector than the one who made the first correction. First, it shall be established that there are no errors in the calculation of qualifications, and that no exercise has remained uncorrected.
The review will then be corrected from top to bottom, the revised ratings and the final resolution of all applications will be published on the Access platform itself on June 22.
Students applying for review within the time limit shall also have access to such examinations.
