Vitoria-Gasteiz blouses and girls will pay tribute with black handkerchiefs to the victims of March 3 at La Blanca parties
3 March 1976will take its place this year atthe festival of the White Virgin of Vitoria-Gasteiz. In fact, a commemorative handkerchief will be designed and an event will be held in memory of the five workers who were shot dead by the police while participating in a meeting on 6 August in the neighbourhood of Zaramaga.
The March 3 Association, in collaboration with the Board of Blouses and Girls and the Federation of Blouses Associations, has convened a tribute event for August 6at 7 p.m. in front of the new cathedral.
In addition, a joint press conference this Friday advanced the design of a i commemorating the 50th anniversary of the massacre.
"We want to encourage the whole of Vitoria-Gasteiz society to take him away at parties, but above all, that people go with him to the event on August 6," explained Nerea Martínez, spokesperson for the association.
