According to the Department of Safety and Security, the 764 Network has been investigated in several countries in relation to sextorsion, organized harassment , dissemination of material for the sexual exploitation of minors, promotion of self-harm, dissemination of content of extreme violence, animal abuse and threats and harassment campaigns against institutions, social organizations and individuals.
The investigation remains open to determine the extent of the detainee's activity and possible links with other members of the network.
