At least two National Guard officers were killed this Wednesday in a shooting near the White House building in Washington, DC.
The Governor of West Virginia, Patrick Morrisey, confirmed this with "deep regret" that they died shortly after being injured in the shooting.
A few minutes earlier, Trump has claimed that the "animal" that shot the national guards is also injured, "seriously" and hospitalized.
On the other hand, the Washington DC Police Department has stated that the incident took place one block from the White House area and that "a suspect is in custody", although it has not provided further details on the matter.
