Trump extends Iran's ultimatum to open the Strait of Hormuz until Tuesday

U.S. President Donald Trump announced on Sunday that he will hold a press conference at the White House with the "military" on Monday at noon, a call in which the president is expected to provide further details on his ultimatum to Iran.
Trump threatened Iran on Sunday that if the Strait of Hormuz is not reopened before Tuesday, "hell will be unleashed."
The President issued an ultimatum for Tehran to make way for ships in the Strait, otherwise it would attack power stations and bridges in Iran.
"Tuesday will be Power Plant Day and Bridge Day , one by one, in Iran. There ain't no such thing!! "Trump wrote on the social network Truth Social.
The president then released a message about the new deadline for Iran, but without giving any further context.
"Tuesday, 8:00 p.m., Eastern time, "he wrote on his social network, Truth Social. If this is the new deadline, it will be Wednesday at 3:30 in Tehran.
Increasing the number of deaths in Iran
Meanwhile, at least 17 people were killed this Monday in Iran by joint US-Israel bombings.
Thirteen people have died in the city of Ghal'eh Mir, Baharestan district, where two homes have been bombed and where, according to the regional governor, "people who may be trapped under the rubble are still being rescued."
The Mehr agency has also reported that four people have been killed and seven injured in eastern Tehran, leaving "three houses completely destroyed and 50 buildings seriously damaged".
Sharif Universityhas also been affected by the attack, as the destruction of energy facilities paralyzed the electricity grid in the north-east of the capital, according to the Fars agency.
This Saturday, Tehran reported that Israel and the US have attacked more than 30 universities and higher education centers since the start of the war, killing 60 students and five teachers .
The authorities of the Islamic Republic have not made an official record of the deaths since the first week of the joint offensive between Tel Aviv and Washington, when it reported 1,230 deaths.
